 There isn't a single specific dua designated for Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power). However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Hadith about Dua for Laylatul Qadr: One narration mentions a specific dua attributed to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) for this night. However, the authenticity of this hadith is debated by scholars.
  • Focus on Supplication: The core purpose of Laylatul Qadr is to increase worship and devotion. Supplication (dua) is a powerful form of worship.

Here's what you can do:

  • General Supplication: You can pray throughout the night using any dua that holds meaning for you. Ask Allah (SWT) for forgiveness, guidance, blessings in this life and the hereafter.
  • Dua from Quran: A common practice is to recite the following dua from the Quran, which is considered a powerful supplication:

Arabic: رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Translation: "Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of the Fire." (Quran 2:201)

  • Personal Supplications: Laylatul Qadr is a special night for sincere prayers. Reflect on your life, your goals, and make heartfelt duas specific to your needs and desires.
