General Dua:

This is a short Dua for any need:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلٰی كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ وَ اَسْتَغْفِرُ الله مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ وَ اَسْئَلُهُ مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ

Translation: All praise is due to Allah for every blessing, and I seek forgiveness from Allah for every sin, and I ask Him for all good, and I seek refuge in Allah from all evil.

Dua for Strength and Guidance:

اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّي اَسْأَلُكَ الْأَمْنَ وَالْإِيْمَانَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ...

Translation: O Allah, I ask You for security and faith in this world and the Hereafter... (you can add your specific request here)

Dua for Forgiveness:

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ، دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ وَعَلَانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ
Translation: O Allah, forgive all of my sins: the small and great, the first and the last, the public and the private.

Dua for Contentment:

أَللَّهُمَّ قَنِّعْنِىْ بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِىْ وَ بَارِكْ لِىْ فِيْهِ وَاخْلُفْ عَلَىَّ كُلَّ غَائِبَةٍ لِّىْ بِخَيْرٍ
Translation: O Allah, grant me contentment with what You have provided me, and bless me in it, and replace everything I miss with something better.

Dua for Protection:

أُعِيْذُ نَفْسِيْ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَابٍِّ الَّلهُ أَعْلَمُ بِه
Translation: I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every creeping insect and from every beast. Allah knows them best.

Dua for Guidance:

رَبِّنَا آتِنَا الْهُدَى وَ لا تُضِلِّنَا وَأَدْخِلْنَا جَنَّتِ النَّعِيمِ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
Translation: Our Lord, grant us guidance and keep us from going astray, and admit us into the Paradise of delight without account.

Morning Dua:

أَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Translation: All praise is due to Allah, who has brought us back to life after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.

Night Dua:

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَضَعُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ ، إِنْ أَمِتَّنِي فَتَوَفَّنِي مُؤْمِنًا ، وَإِنْ أَوْقَظْتَنِي فَأَوْقِظْنِي عَلَى يَسْرٍ
Translation: In Your name, O Allah, I lie down on my side and in Your name I raise it. If You cause me to die, then cause me to die as a believer, and if You wake me, then wake me to ease.

Dua for Entering the Mosque:

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Translation: O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Dua for Leaving the Mosque:

غُفْرَانَكَ الَّذِي عَرِضْتَهُ وَ جَنَّتَكَ الَّتِي وَعَدْتَهَا
Translation: (Your) forgiveness which You have offered, and Your paradise which You have promised.

Dua for Traveling:

أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الْمَقَامِ وَسُوءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ
Translation: I seek refuge in You from the trouble of travel, the gloom of residing in a place, and the evil of returning home.

Dua for When Facing Difficulty:

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Translation: Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

Dua for Increased Knowledge:

رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Translation: My Lord, increase me in knowledge. (This Dua is from the Qur'an, Surah Taha, verse 114)

Dua for Success:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي وَلا تُعِنْ عَلَيَّ، وَانْصُرْنِي وَلا تَنْصُرْ عَلَيَّ، وَأَهْدِنِي وَيَسِّرْ الهدى إِلَيَّ ، وَانْصُرْنِي عَلَى مَنْ بَغَى عَلَيَّ
Translation: O Allah, grant me aid and do not grant aid against me, grant me victory and do not grant victory against me, guide me and make guidance easy for me, and grant me victory over those who transgress against me.

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ وَأَصْبِرَ عَلَى بَلَائِكَ

اللَّهُمَّ أَقِمْ عَلَيْنَا أَمْنَكَ وَإِيمَانَكَ وَوَفِّقْنَا لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى
Translation: O Allah, establish Your security and faith upon us, and guide us to that which You love and with which You are pleased.

Dua for Thankfulness:

Translation: All praise is due to Allah, in all circumstances.

Dua for Parents:

رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Translation: My Lord, have mercy upon them both as they had mercy on me when I was small. (This Dua is from the Qur'an, Surah Al-Isra, verse 24)

Dua for Forgiveness of Sins:

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ لِوَالِدَيَّ وَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Translation: O Allah, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day of Reckoning. (This Dua is from the Qur'an, Surah Surah Hud, verse 49)

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَحْكُمَ بِالْعَدْلِ وَأُقِيمَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَى أَنْ يُضِلَّنِي مِنْكَ
Translation: My Lord, inspire me to rule with justice and establish prayer and give to the kindred their due right and to the debtors [their right] and to the traveler [his right] and do not turn me over to my inclination, which will lead me astray from You. Dua for Increased Provision:

اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالِي وَوَلَدِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي ذَلِكَ
Translation: O Allah, increase my wealth and children and bless me in that.

Dua for Protection from Calamities:

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Translation: Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. (This Dua can be used for various calamities)

Dua for Rain:

Dua for Forgiveness of a Specific Sin:

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ عَنْ ذَنْبِي الَّذِي أَعْلَمُهُ وَالَّذِي لَا أَعْلَمُهُ
Translation: I seek forgiveness from Allah for the sin that I know of and the sin that I do not know of.

Dua for Peace of Mind:

اللَّهُمَّ أَكْفِينِي هَمَّهُ الدُّنْيَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عذَابِ النَّارِ
Translation: O Allah, relieve me of the worries of this world and I seek refuge in You from the torment of the Hellfire.

Dua for the Deceased:

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ وَوَسِّعْ مَدْخَلَهُ اغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ
Translation: O Allah, forgive him/her, have mercy on him/her, grant him/her wellness, pardon him/her, honor his/her dwelling place, and expand his/her entrance. Wash him/her with water, snow, and hail. Purify him/her from sins as a white garment is purified from filth.

Dua for When Feeling Lost:

رَبِّ أَرِنِي الْأَشْيَاءَ كَمَا هِيَ
Translation: My Lord, show me things as they truly are.

Dua for Thankfulness for a Specific Blessing:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ
Translation: All praise is due to Allah for every blessing. (Followed by mentioning the specific blessing you are grateful for)

Dua Before Eating:
