Here are a few duas you can recite for the cure of any illness:
1. Dua for Healing and Relief:
Meaning: "O Allah, remove the hardship, O Lord of mankind, heal, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing except Your healing, a healing which leaves no illness behind." (Surat ash-Shu'ara, verse 80)
This verse from the Quran directly asks Allah (SWT) for healing and emphasizes that true healing comes only from Him.
2. Supplication from Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ):
(A'udhu bi kalimaatillah at-tammati min kulli shaytanin wa haammissin wa min kulli 'aynin laammah)
Meaning: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and from their whisperings and from every evil eye." (Sahih al-Bukhari)
This Hadith narrates a dua recited by Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) for seeking refuge from various evils that can contribute to illness.
3. Dua for a Sick Person:
(Allahumma Rabb an-nas muzilul ba'si ishfi anta ash-Shafi, ishfi [name of the sick person] la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifaan la yaghadhiru saqaman)
Meaning: "O Allah, Lord of the mankind, Remover of hardship, heal, for You are the Healer, heal [name of the sick person], there is no healing except Your healing, a healing which leaves no illness behind."
In this dua, you replace "[name of the sick person]" with the actual name of the person who is ill.
