Surah Az-Zalzalah: The Earthquake
English Translation:
The title itself, "Az-Zalzalah," translates to "The Earthquake" in English. Here's the translation of the entire Surah (verses 1-8):
- When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake.
- And when the earth throws out its burdens,
- And man (says): "What is the matter with it?"
- That Day, it will speak out its news.
- For your Lord has inspired it.
- That Day mankind will come forth in scattered groups, that they may be shown their deeds.
- Then whoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), will see it.
- And whoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), will see it.
